Maryam Mousa, an Iraqi-American high school student with a passion for education and learning, is the founder and creator of Madiyah. With  a firm belief in the transformative power of education and a keen interest in STEAM disciplines (science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics), Maryam established Madiyah to make a meaningful impact on communities in need. Her dedication to bridging educational gaps and fostering a love for learning drives her mission to empower students in Zubaydiyah, Iraq. Through Madiyah, Maryam aims to create opportunities that inspire and uplift, paving the way for brighter futures through knowledge and innovation. She is an advocate for learning and believes in universal education accessibility. Maryam aspires to extend support globally in the future by continually building up and adding on to her organization in aims of improving the state of the world, one place at a time.
